H. Edward Goldberg, AIA, NCARB

At 80 years old, "Ed" represents a remarkable architectural legacy spanning over five decades. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Philadelphia College of Art (1968) and Bachelor of Architecture from University of Maryland (1975).

Historic Preservation Pioneer (1970s-1980s): Founded design/build firm GOLDBERG/TYDINGS, Inc., specializing in Baltimore's Inner Harbor renaissance. Purchased and rehabilitated 40 historic 1890s townhouses from the city, becoming an expert in historic neighborhood rehabilitation (Barre Circle and Ridgely's Close).

Major Early Projects: 120-unit condominium complex, restaurants, 4-story office/retail complex, 5-story Victorian bed & breakfast—establishing a reputation for transforming Baltimore's urban fabric.

Construction Leadership: Project manager for Johns Hopkins University engineering center, prison construction in Washington DC, and in 1988, pioneered the first multi-story self-storage facility for Chesapeake Construction Co. (EZ-STORE).
